Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains cookies, browser storage and related technologies on PMNBuzz.com. Read it with our Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

What these technologies do

A cookie is a small item of data stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and identifiers used by particular services. Some expire when a session ends; others persist for a period set by the service. A browser or device may store separate items for PMNBuzz and for an embedded or external provider.

Categories used by site features

  • Necessary and security: login/session handling, request validation, protection against abuse and other essential operations.
  • Preferences: choices such as language or interface settings, when the corresponding feature is used.
  • Analytics and performance: understanding audience activity and diagnosing performance through services such as Jetpack or configured Google tools. The precise processing depends on the service settings and applicable choices.
  • Advertising: ad delivery, measurement and, where enabled and permitted, personalisation through Google and other relevant providers.
  • Embedded and social content: technologies used by a video, social post or other third-party feature you interact with.

Not every category is active on every page or for every visitor. A social sign-in service can also use its own authentication cookies when you choose to sign in. PMNBuzz does not need your social-account password.

Advertising choices

When Google ads are displayed, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to personalise ads based on visits across the Internet, subject to consent and configuration. Where required, relevant non-essential advertising technologies must be governed by an appropriate consent-management process; necessary access and security functions are different.

Use a consent message’s controls when one is presented to review the options it offers. You can also manage Google’s personalised advertising in My Ad Center and review participating vendors’ options at AboutAds choices. Refusing personalisation does not necessarily mean that no ads will appear. Vendor opt-outs may depend on the browser/device and do not automatically revoke all site consent choices.

Browser controls

Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings let you inspect, block or remove cookies and stored data. Blocking everything can prevent login or other features from working. Clearing data may remove saved choices and cause a site to ask again. Make changes separately on each browser or device you use.

Current vendor instructions are available for Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Settings and labels can change; use the browser’s current help if your interface differs.

Push notifications are a separate permission

Allowing browser push notifications is not cookie consent and is not permission for personalised advertising. To stop push messages, change the notification permission for PMNBuzz in your browser or device settings. Deleting cookies may not remove that permission or an existing push subscription. Email subscriptions, where offered, have separate unsubscribe controls.

Providers and changing storage details

Services can change cookie names, duration and behaviour with their configuration and releases. This policy describes purposes rather than presenting an unverified fixed list. You can inspect the items actually stored through your browser’s site-data tools. Provider information includes Automattic’s cookie information, Google’s cookie explanation and Cloudflare’s privacy information.

A privacy notice does not replace a consent mechanism where the law or an advertising programme requires one. We review this policy as relevant features change; the date above records the latest revision.
