Fireboy DML has released ZUKO!, adding a fifth studio album to a catalogue that began with Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps in 2019.
BellaNaija’s October 16 release report describes a 13-track project issued through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The featured artists include Lojay, Judah Earl, Masicka, JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela.

The announced track list includes “Dear Father,” “By Fire!,” “CLAAT!,” “GODDESS” and “IMALI.” Fireboy also shared a Red Couch Session connected with the album’s rollout, giving listeners another way to approach the project through the artist’s own explanation.
A new album invites more than a first-single reaction
An album can be experienced as a sequence rather than a collection of isolated previews. The opening song establishes a point of entry; the tracks around a collaboration can change how that collaboration feels; a final song may leave a different impression from the one created by the first few minutes.
For that reason, it is worth giving a new project at least one uninterrupted listen before allowing a timeline’s favourite clip to stand in for the whole release. A hook that works immediately is only one kind of musical decision.
The range of collaborators also gives listeners several routes into the record. Someone arriving through a featured artist may hear Fireboy in a different setting, while an existing fan can consider how the guest performance changes the balance of a song.
Those are listening questions, rather than claims that the collaborations automatically succeed. The release announcement establishes who is involved; the music itself supplies the basis for an assessment.
For fans following the rollout, official artist and label links are the clearest route to the intended edition. A reposted file may have missing tracks, altered credits or an inaccurate title, and an unofficial “deluxe” upload should not be treated as a new announcement.
Credits are worth reading alongside the songs. Performers, writers and producers contribute in different ways, and a collaboration headline does not describe every role behind the recording.
ZUKO! gives Fireboy’s audience a new full-length project to explore. The useful starting point is the announced release and the artist’s accompanying material, with enough space left for listeners to decide which songs reward another play.
